At Eight8 Property, the health and wellbeing of our tenants, applicants, clients and employees is of the highest importance. With this in mind, and given the current evolving situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have decided to adapt some of our procedures in the short term.
We will be working remotely as of Monday the 16th of March but remain fully operational. Please do not visit the office without a pre-arranged appointment. These will be available in the case of emergency situations that require immediate attention and as long as you have not had any relevant symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case or have returned from an area of high risk in the last 14 days. You will be asked about your situation during the booking process and the final decision as to whether an appointment will be arranged will be at the discretion of the staff member involved. If you do visit the office you will be asked to sign in and leave contact details. This is precautionary and so that in the instance we become exposed to the virus we can contact you to advise. We will now be offering video viewings (where available) for applicants interested in properties we have available. If you would still prefer to view the property in person, you will be able to as long as the stipulations laid out above are adhered to. Again staff discretion will be final. Please be reassured that we have elevated our already high standards of hygiene, incorporating additional deep cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
We are currently working on a full strategy regarding our tenants, landlords and vendors. This will follow further advice from government and health professional. We will update this information as we have any further and the status of the office will be reviewed weekly. For all COVID-19 related health information, please follow the World Health Organization‘s advice.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure we negotiate these challenging circumstances with everyone’s health and wellbeing in mind.
